Also a reminder from Jim - NATIONAL BIKE MONTH

May is National Bike Month, promoted by the League of American Bicyclists and celebrated in communities from coast to coast.

Established in 1956, National Bike Month is a chance to showcase the many benefits of bicycling — and encourage more folks to giving biking a try. Get a friend who doesn't ride much and invite them to ride!!!!!!!!!

(This would be a great month to recruit new subscribers!)

Alan Trammell (Lindsay Area) - Alan worked hard with the Germanfest Bike Ride and was able to get Christian Cycling water bottles with the gospel tracts in about 800 SWAG bags for the event! He also was instrumental in getting Fire Ant Tour cards in every SWAG bag for this huge event. He also rode the longest route of the event. With all the work and items donated, our logo made the back of the event shirt! Great job Alan!!

From Art Garcesa (Little Elm/North Dallas Area) - 04/13/2024 in Ferris, TX at the 28th Annual Bike the BlueBonnets Ride 2024:

Our North Texas members & family had a great time at our first rally of the season at the Bike the BlueBonnet 2024 Ride.  We joined nearly 1,000 other riders and had a blast!   I did not get everyone for a pic but tagged our FB family members.

This ride was hosted by the Greater Dallas Bicyclist Club (GDB) and benefits their club.  The GDB missions are is to promote bicycling as a lifetime activity and encourages good heatlh, wellness, friendship, skill and personal accomplishment.  The GDB works together as a club to have a greater impact on bicycle safety and the community as well as to provide education to enable bicyclists and motorists to share the road safely.

The support was awesome, and this has quickly become one of our favorite rallies.  We hope to see everyone next year.   For His Kingdom and For His Glory!

Art Garcesa - April 27th & April 28th:  Austin, TX to College Station, TX

We are very blessed to have been able to participate in the 40th Texas MS 150 ride.  This ride benefited the National Multiple Sclerosis Society’s mission to cure MS while empowering people affected by MS to live their best lives.

Our fellowship team this year doubled from last year with Zina McCrory, Jack Carmicheal Thompson, and David Bridgewater joining Pastor Monty Van Horn, Thomas Goes, and Art Garcesa.

The Texas MS-150 has become a yearly tradition for Christian Cycling - Texas and we plan to continue support for ride for as long as they have it.

We would like to thank (YOU) all of our family, friends, and donors for all of the help, support, and encouragement.
