From Monty (Gatesville) - 7 February- This morning, Tammy Estes Van Horn and I met Art Garcesa and David Bridgewater at the ORR PreOwned Longview for the Freeze Your Fanny Bike Ride. We love supporting this ride every year because it supports East Texas Lightnin', a local special needs sports team. Margie Estes Bellomy arrived with the coffee and donuts. It was great to see John Bellomy and Kate Phillips Bellomy who dropped in to day hello before the ride started. For me, the best thing about the events, is getting to meet the new members. I got to meet Allen Moyer and Laura Moyer (and their fur baby, Khayden) from Coldspring and Tom Kerr from Dallas. It was great to see Randy Wells again. We are looking forward to returning to Longview for the Beast of the Backroads. I rode the 36 mile coarse today. Margie got to check out a classic car while Tammy handed out some little angels and gospel music thumb drive from our Abilene area reps, Lonnie Sutton and Kathy Sutton. We also handed out nearly half a dozen cards with Derrick Daniels info, our Longview area rep. After the ride, and we broke down the hospitality booth, we prayed with Chris, Keri and the crew. Tammy and I stopped for a kids meal then hit the road. Ethan VanHorn was waiting for us and helped us unload the car. Y'all have a blessed night.

From the Suttons (Abilene Reps) - 6 February - Good long ride. I got a rear tire puncture in the Birding Center, hearing a pop and hiss as sealant sprayed out rather dramatically, but the tubeless sealant sealed it quickly and I was able to finish the ride with no needed intervention!

From Monty - 2 February - I rode out to Mother Neff State Park - Texas Parks and Wildlife again today. Talk about WIND, geesh, I averaged less than 10MPH! BUT, I made it here and activated the park but the bands were up and down big time. Decided not to try and get any after 6PM, new day Zulu time. I might try in the morning but not likely, there is always next time. Made supper and some coffee, after that I'm heading to the tent. I love combining riding my bicycle, camping and ham radio. There is no such thing as too much fun (LOL).

Hello everyone,

For me Joining the Mr. Health & Fitness competition isn’t just about personal achievement , it’s about inspiring and encouraging other senior citizens to take ownership of their health through simple, daily activity.

You don’t need extreme workouts or complicated routines. Consistency, movement, and discipline, walking, stretching, light strength work , can dramatically improve quality of life at any age.  I want others to see that age is not a limitation, but a responsibility. If my journey resonates with you, I’d truly appreciate your support.

Brothers & Sisters: To God be the glory!! Today we rejoice and we celebrate!! Please join me in congratulating our brother Keenan Culpepper.
Today, our brother Keenan accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. I am very blessed to bear witness to the power of the Holy Spirit at work.
As the Lord commanded us in Matthew 28:19 - Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. And to ALL that we point to the cross that our mission is to tell everyone that it is NOT about religion but about having a personal relationship with Christ.
Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus.

From Fabian Broncano on 25 December 2025 - As many of you have heard, our Frisco Triathlon Club community lost two members in a tragic accident this morning. We are heartbroken.  One way to honor the lives and impact of our dear friends Scott Mages and Andre Kocher is to come together as a community at the Wednesday, December 24 Santa Run. Whether you join us to run, walk, volunteer, or simply be present, your participation means a great deal.

From Monty - 3 December - The trip to Mother Neff State Park - Texas Parks and Wildlife was awesome. After supper, going to have some hot chocolate. I made contact with my little UV-5R handheld. Talked to Bobby Sanders and Mike Reaves on the radio. What a beautiful day in December! I can never get tired of riding the bicycle, camping out and playing on the radio!
