Wichita Falls, TX: HH100 Weekend - The biggest cycling weekend for Texas Cyclists. Our members had a very successful ride weekend at HH100. We had a great time in fellowship with Christ. We have plans to go bigger and better next year. We took lots of pictures and videos. Please have a look!

Friday:

We started this weekend by setting up our tent on Friday at the finish line village on Friday afternoon and then picked up our rider packets. We met Bruce Beyerly & Stella , (our National President and wonderful bride), Maria Alejandra Muñoz & Steve. We also met our longtime member and brother Eddie Anderson and his son Craig. We had dinner with Bruce & Stella and then headed over to First Christian Church where we were staying for the night. We met our other members Steve Pilipchuk, Juan, and his brother Maurico at the church.

First Christian Church was a very nice place to stay. In the past, they only allowed HH100 riders to sleep in the gymnasium but this year they opened up their entire church and the school to the riders. They placed families and groups and in separate classrooms and offices. ChristianCycling was given a very spacious teacher's conference room which could have accommodated 12 people. We had service at 9pm at the church before lights out at 11pm.

Saturday:

We began our morning by having prayers at our finish line tent at 5:45am and then we took pictures with our brothers and sisters at North Texas Cycling. After pictures, we all started to line up and braced ourselves for a very exciting but hard day of riding. During the ride and at rest stop #7 mile 68, I met one of our brother Paul Bush who is a member of Christian Cycling - Oklahoma. I also met up with our brother Holland Clarke (not on FB) during the ride. This is one of Holland's last ride with us because his company (Amazon) is moving him to San Jose, CA. He will be riding the CPC100 with us on September 16th as his last ride. I made a deal with him that I will ride Triple ByPass CO with him next year and every year and in return, he will fly back and join us for HH100s.

Shoutouts:

Congratulations to our sister Tamara Massey for riding her best HH100! This is her personal best and record time. She rode with our brother Michael Keel . They were both registered with the prestigious Golden Wheels.

A huge thank you to both Fabian Broncano and David Bridgewater for their help and support this weekend.
